Talks Hearing Himself on Radio, Meeting John Legend & MORE. INTERVIEW: R&B Pop Singer/Songwriter MICHAEL MINELLI Gets Vulnerable With “Somebody Else” In First Look At Upcoming Album.I hope to spend November and December brainstorming ideas and stories for skits (perhaps comedy) on my YouTube channel. Now that this video is done, what’s your next musical project? My next project is not musical at all. As long as I can afford to keep saying no to all these other jobs and gigs during that time, I will continue to make these videos. During the last few months beginning in September, I cannot take on any other jobs or gigs. How long do you think you’ll continue to make these videos? Pop Danthology is a project that takes over my life. In order to smoothly work with that track, I had to get very creative with manipulating the rhythm (not the tempo) of different songs. What was the hardest part about putting this year’s mix together? Mixing “I’m An Albatroz” was difficult because it was the only song I worked with that has a swing to its rhythm. Pop Danthology 2014 took me about 180 hours, but since I made two this year, it took even longer than that. When did you start working on the 2015 mix? Typically, how long does it take you to make them? I started working on my 2015 mix in September.

What are some of your favorite songs from this year’s video? “Dessert” by Dawin, “679” by Fetty Wap, “Worth It” by Fifth Harmony. How many songs were you able to fit into this year’s mix? Is that pretty average? I was able to fit a total of 82 songs across two separate mashups. I guess more and more people are enjoying trap music. What do you think of the pop music that’s been released this year? Have you noticed any kind of a change in music since last year? This year the music has gotten even more chill and slow than music from last year. So in 2010 I decided to meet their requests and I made my first mashup with the original artists. My fans were really enjoying them, but a lot of them asked me to make one with the original singers so that they could play them in the clubs and at parties. Doing one song a week was not efficient enough so I started singing 3 songs in one video, then 5 and then 10. I proposed to my girlfriend this August! What first gave you the idea to makes these pop music yearly mashups? I used to sing covers on YouTube. Daniel Kim in the following All Access interview: Thanks for your time again this year! So, how’s your year been going? My year has been great. To view more of Daniel’s videos, check out his YouTube link here: And now, learn more about Mr.
